Seminole, TX – In their first competition of the season, the Permian II girls golf team finished in second place in the two-day Seminole Invitational.
Permian II, our junior varsity team, matches the efforts of the Permian I varsity. Both are beginning their seasons with a strong second place finish. Last week, Permian I competed in the Red Raider Open in Lubbock. This weekend, Permian II participated in Seminole.
Andrews claimed the top spot of the two-day event, shooting 689. Permian secured the second place with a 749, followed by host Seminole with an 803. Lucy Pennington led Permian with a 172 and finished with the event’s third best individual score. Julissa Olivares had second best with a 192, and Daniella Muniz was a shot behind with 193.
